The Time Has Come

This painting captures a scene I encountered while seeking inspiration in Pandai Timur on the East Coast of Malaysia. It depicts discarded fishing nets draped with a vibrant batik sarong and scattered children’s toys, remnants of playful moments. The creeping plants and the white dove in flight were intentionally added to infuse a sense of vitality into the otherwise still composition. My aim with this piece is to record these fleeting moments of beauty, preserving them as visual documents, much like archiving cherished memories.
