作为修复师，我的工作室一直是我独立创作与工作的地方。在这个空间里，每一件作品背后，都有它自己的故事和情感。我一直坚信，修复不仅仅是技术的重建，更是对客户隐私的保护。

As a restorer, my studio has always been a place of independent creation and work. In this space, every piece carries its own story and emotion. I have always believed that restoration is more than technical reconstruction—it is the protection of client privacy.

最近，我收到了一次合作机会，背后有着可能为我带来更多曝光和项目的潜力。这本该是一次难得的机会，我也非常渴望能够打开更广阔的道路。可是，这次机会的条件之一，是根据他们的 SOP，要求参观我的工作室。

Recently, I was offered a collaborative opportunity with the potential for significant exposure and new projects. It should have been a rare chance that I was eager to pursue. However, one of the conditions was a mandatory studio visit, following their SOP.

作为一个单人工作室，这里充满了私人性和独立性。更重要的是，目前我正在进行中的一些项目，出于保密协议和客户隐私的考虑，我无法让外界进入查看。这不仅是对客户的尊重，也是在确保工作过程不受外界干扰。我清楚，如果我放松这一原则，可能会失去客户的信任，而失去这份信任，意味着我可能连最基本的生计都保不住。

As a solo studio, this place is deeply personal and independent. More importantly, several ongoing projects are under NDAs and privacy agreements; I cannot allow outsiders to view them. This is not just out of respect for the clients, but also to ensure an undisturbed work process. I know that if I compromise this principle, I risk losing the trust of my clients—and losing that trust could mean losing my very livelihood.

因此，尽管这个机会看起来有很大的潜力，我最终还是选择了拒绝。这个决定让我感到有些失望，也有些矛盾。毕竟，机会并不是天天都有的，尤其对于我这种一个人的工作室来说。但我也知道，如果我违背了自己的底线，放松了对工作室的管控，或许会面临更大的风险。

Therefore, despite the potential, I ultimately chose to refuse. The decision left me feeling disappointed and conflicted. After all, opportunities like this are rare, especially for a solo practitioner. But I also know that violating my own bottom line and loosening control over my studio could lead to far greater risks.

选择坚守底线，虽然可能错过了这个机会，但我知道这是最对得起自己的决定。我只能做出最实际、最能保护自己生计的选择。

Choosing to stand my ground meant missing an opportunity, but I know it was the decision truest to myself. I can only make the most practical choice to protect my livelihood.
